How to choose the right kit
Start with your machine. We build for 21 brands and well over a hundred models. If your exact year and model are in the finder, that kit fits — hardware, hoses and instructions included, no adapting required. If it isn't, call us at 888-964-0135; our universal heater can usually be fitted with a little guidance from our shop.
Standard or dual-fan? The standard kit (14,600 BTU, 180 CFM) is the right choice for most two-seat cabs. Go dual-fan (18,000+ BTU, 320 CFM) if you have a crew cab, ride in serious cold, or want the windshield clear as fast as possible. Dual-fan kits are available for the Polaris Ranger XP1000, Polaris General, CFMoto U10 Pro and Yamaha Wolverine RMAX-4.
Add the MaxStat for 10 to 15 degrees more cab heat. Most UTVs have oversized radiators and an engine thermostat that closes as soon as the engine cools, which starves the heater core. The MaxStat is our inline bypass thermostat: it sends hot coolant to the heater first, so the air stays hot instead of rising and falling every time the engine thermostat opens and closes. Around 10–15 °F more cab heat on the kits that use it.
Options you'll see at checkout. In-cab heat control lets you turn the heat up, down or fully off from the seat, without reaching under the hood for the shut-off valve. Hose clamp-off pliers keep coolant in the system while you tie into it and make bleeding air far easier. 2-seat / 4-seat only tells us how much coolant hose to pack — it never changes the price.
What's in every kit
Heater unit with copper heater core and machined aluminum Y-fittings, all brackets and hardware, OEM-grade heater hose rated to 257 °F, stainless steel hose clamps, adjustable vents (six to eight on most kits, including dedicated defrost vents), wiring and switch, the specialty tools the install needs, and picture-rich step-by-step instructions written for a first-time installer.
Installation
Plan on four to eight hours with basic hand tools; the first install always takes the longest, and dealers who have done one do the next in half the time. You're never stuck: our tech support line is answered by the people who design and build these kits, in Minnesota, for as long as you own the heater. No ticket queue, no charge.

Frequently asked questions
Will a coolant heater drain my UTV's battery?
No. The heat comes from engine coolant; the fan draws about the same modest 12-volt current as a factory blower motor.
Does it defrost the windshield?
Yes. Every kit includes adjustable vents, and most include dedicated defrost vents aimed at the glass. The dual-fan kits clear a windshield fastest.
How long does installation take?
Four to eight hours depending on experience. First-timers should set aside a day and follow the picture instructions step by step; call us if anything is unclear.
Can I install it myself?
Yes — most of our customers do, with basic hand tools. The kit includes the specialty tools the job needs.

Do you ship to Canada?
Yes. Canadian orders carry a $30–$50 per heater freight charge depending on the province; duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
