Installation
The heater mounts on the firewall behind the center console, hidden, protected and quiet. You tap into the engine coolant and route the hose to the heater; the instructions show every step with pictures. Basic hand tools do the job.
Options
Seat rows: Pick Single Row (U10 Pro) or Double Row (U10 XL Pro) so we pack the right length of coolant hose. The price doesn’t change.

Hose clamp tools (+$24.99): A pair of clamp-off pliers that seal hoses up to 2 inches, so the coolant tie-in stays clean. Handy on radiator hoses too.
Questions we hear
Does it defrost the windshield?
Yes. Two dedicated defrost vents, driven by dual fans, keep the U10’s big windshield clear.
Will it drain my battery?
No. The heat comes from your engine’s coolant, not the battery. The dual fans draw just 2–3 amps of 12-volt power, similar to an OEM blower.
How long does the install take?
Plan on 4–8 hours depending on experience. Experienced do-it-yourselfers land at the low end; first-timers should set aside a full day and follow the picture-rich instructions step by step.
Do I need the hose clamp tools?
You can install without them, but they make the coolant tie-in faster and cleaner. They pinch the hoses shut so coolant doesn’t pour out, and less air gets into the system, which makes bleeding the air out much easier. Sold as a pair; they fit hoses up to 2 inches.
