A heater for the Yamaha Wolverine RMAX4 1000 Compact, 2020–2025
This Ice Crusher dual-fan heater kit is built specifically for the Yamaha Wolverine RMAX4 1000 Compact — not a universal heater adapted to fit. The dual-fan heater core moves twice the air of our single-fan kits: 18,000 BTU and 320 CFM through 6 adjustable vents — two defrost vents, two hand vents and two rear vents for the back-seat passengers. The heater unit mounts under the driver seat. Because it runs on engine coolant, it makes real heat without draining your battery; the dual fans draw just 2–3 amps.

Installation
The heater mounts under the driver seat, and the rear vents warm the back-seat riders. You tap into the engine coolant and route the hose to the heater; the instructions show every step with pictures. Basic hand tools do the job.
Options
Hose clamp tools (+$24.99): A pair of clamp-off pliers that seal hoses up to 2 inches, so the coolant tie-in stays clean. Handy on radiator hoses too.

Will it fit my RMAX4?
Only the RMAX4 1000 Compact (LE, XT-R and R-Spec), 2020–2025. Look at the rear footwell: tall sidewalls mean this kit fits; short sidewalls mean it won’t. Not sure? Call 888-964-0135.
What does the thermostat bypass housing do?
It’s a custom housing that sits behind the OEM thermostat so hot coolant reaches the heater faster and more consistently. It’s included with this kit.
Will it drain my battery?
No. The heat comes from your engine’s coolant, not the battery. The dual fans draw just 2–3 amps of 12-volt power, similar to an OEM blower.
How long does the install take?
Plan on 4–8 hours depending on experience. Experienced do-it-yourselfers land at the low end; first-timers should set aside a full day and follow the picture-rich instructions step by step.
