Ice Crusher builds ten Kawasaki-specific heater kits covering the Mule Pro-FXT, FX and FXD, the Mule 4000 / 4010 and Trans, the Teryx and Teryx4, the Teryx KRX 1000 and the Ridge, from 2008 to the current model year. Each kit is designed around that machine, so the heater, vents and hose routing all have a planned home. Every kit runs on engine coolant — 14,600 BTU of real heat with no battery drain beyond the fan.

Mule Pro-FXT, FX and FXD: two styles of front heater for the same machines. The under-hood kit ($499.99) mounts on the passenger side under the hood, feeds six vents and keeps the dash area clear; the under-dash kit ($399.99) mounts under the center dash with five vents. FXT owners who carry passengers in the back can add the rear-seat heater, either on its own page or as a checkout option on the under-hood kit.
Mule 4000 / 4010 / Trans: also two styles. The six-vent kit mounts behind the headlights on the passenger side; the four-vent kit mounts under the center dash. Both cover gas and diesel — pick your fuel type at checkout.
Teryx 800 and Teryx4 800: split by year — 2014–2015 and 2016–2025. Both mount on the passenger-side wheel well with six vents and defrost. The 2008–2013 Teryx 750 has its own five-vent kit.
KRX 1000 and Ridge: one kit each. The KRX heater mounts behind the center dash; the Ridge heater mounts under the driver seat and fits the Ridge and Ridge Crew.

Every kit ships the same business day from Minnesota with the heater, vents, coolant hose, duct hose, fittings, hardware, specialty tools and picture-rich, step-by-step instructions — nothing to source at the hardware store mid-install.
The photo shows a typical kit laid out; the brackets, bezels and vent count change to suit each machine.
Plan on four to eight hours with hand tools, depending on experience. All the hardware, fittings, hose and specialty tools are in the box, and the instructions walk the install step by step with photos. Call 888-964-0135 if you have a question mid-install — unlimited tech support comes with every kit.

The MaxStat is our inline coolant bypass thermostat. It adds 10 to 15 degrees of cab heat by keeping hot coolant moving through the heater core, and it stops the engine thermostat from cycling open and closed so quickly, so the heat in the cab stays steady instead of rising and falling. It is a checkout option on both Mule Pro front kits, the 2016–2025 Teryx 800 kit, the Teryx 750 kit and the KRX 1000 kit.
Yes — every front heater kit for Kawasaki includes defrost vents. The Mule Pro-FXT rear-seat heater warms the back row only.
No. The heat comes from engine coolant; the fan draws about what a factory blower does.
They are two different styles of heater for the same machine: a six-vent kit that mounts under the hood and leaves the dash area clear, and a lower-priced kit that mounts under the dash. Both include defrost.

No — you can install the kit without them. But they make the job significantly cleaner and quicker, because you don't have to drain the coolant before cutting into the radiator hoses: clamp the hose off on each side, make the cut, and very little coolant is lost and very little air gets in. They are a $24.99 option at checkout on the kit page.
