Will this throw a check engine light or error code?

No. The plug mimics a normally buckled belt, so the ECU sees an ordinary signal and logs nothing.

How many do I need?

One per belted seat position you want bypassed. Most two-seat machines only need the driver's side. Crew and Max models often want two.

Will it work with my aftermarket racing harness?

Yes — that's the most common reason people buy it. Once the factory latch is unplugged, the machine limits you permanently until something completes that circuit.

Will it interfere with my Ice Crusher heater install?

No. It lives on the seat belt circuit and shares nothing with your heater wiring. Plenty of customers install both in the same afternoon.

Can I take it back out?
