Can-Am Maverick X3 (2018–2025) Cab Heater with Defrost
Purpose-built for the Maverick X3: 14,600 BTU through 6 adjustable vents, including dedicated defrost to keep your windshield clear. Mounts on the driver-side firewall left of the steering column — hidden and protected from the elements.
Fitment
Fits all Can-Am Maverick X3 models, 2018–2025. Have a 2017 X3? We build a separate kit for it. Choose 2-Seat or 4-Seat at checkout so we ship the right coolant hose length; price is identical.
Get 10–15° more heat with the MaxStat
Every coolant heater on the market has the same weakness: when the engine thermostat closes, coolant stops flowing to the heater core and your heat fades. The MaxStat — our inline coolant bypass thermostat (180°F standard, 192°F on request) — keeps hot coolant flowing to the heater core when the engine thermostat would have shut it down. It eliminates the thermal cycling that affects almost every UTV heater, and on the X3 it's worth an extra 10–15 degrees of cab heat. Add it at checkout (1" / 26mm size for the X3).

FAQ
- Does it clear the windshield? Yes — dedicated defrost vents.
- What's a MaxStat and do I need it? It's an inline bypass thermostat that keeps coolant flowing to your heater when the engine thermostat closes. You don't need it, but it's the single best heat upgrade for the X3 (+10–15°F).
- How long does installation take? Install time varies a lot with skill and experience — plan on 4–8 hours. Experienced DIYers land at the low end; first-timers should set aside a full day and take it step by step with the picture-rich instructions.
- Ships to Canada? Yes, $30–$50/heater freight depending on province.
