This SMS Privacy Policy explains how J and S Industries, LLC, doing business as Ice Crusher Heaters ("Ice Crusher Heaters," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and protects information related to our text-messaging program, Ice Crusher Heaters customer care texts, sent from 763-317-0083. It supplements our general Privacy Policy and our SMS Terms & Conditions. Where this policy and the general Privacy Policy differ regarding text messaging, this policy controls.
Information We Collect Through Text Messaging
When you text us or ask us to text you, we may collect:
- Your mobile phone number
- The content of the text messages you send us and the messages we send you, including any order numbers, product questions, or photos you choose to share
- The date, time, and delivery status of messages
- Your opt-in and opt-out status and the date and method by which you gave or withdrew consent
- Carrier and technical information provided by the messaging platform (for example, whether a number is a mobile number)
How We Use This Information
We use the information above only to operate the customer care texting program:
- Answer your product, fitment, installation, and warranty questions
- Provide order status, shipping, and delivery updates when you ask for them
- Provide customer support and follow up on a conversation you started
- Send required program messages (for example, a reply to HELP or a confirmation when you text STOP)
- Maintain records of consent and comply with legal and carrier requirements
We do not use this program to send marketing or promotional text messages. Your consent to receive customer care texts is not consent to receive marketing texts. If we ever offer marketing text messages, they will be a separate program that requires your separate, express written consent, and you will be able to opt in or out of it independently.
No Sharing of Mobile Information for Marketing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of information described above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We share text-messaging information only with service providers that help us deliver the program and that act on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, such as our messaging platform provider (Twilio) and our customer-service software. These providers may not use your information for their own purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or merger of our business (in which case this policy would continue to apply).
Data Retention
Text message logs are retained by our messaging platform for 13 months (400 days) and are then deleted. We may keep a record of your consent and opt-out status, and any order or warranty information you share with us, for as long as needed to service your order, honor your opt-out, and satisfy our legal and record-keeping obligations.
Opting Out
You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from 763-317-0083. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt back in. For help, reply HELP, call 888-964-0135, or email info@icecrusherheaters.com.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information collected through this program. No method of transmission over mobile networks is completely secure, so please do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive financial information by text.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you in connection with this program by contacting us at info@icecrusherheaters.com. We will honor your request as required by applicable law.
Children
This program is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect mobile information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this SMS Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued participation in the program after a change means you accept the updated policy.
