A heater for the Kawasaki Ridge and Ridge Crew, 2024–2025
This Ice Crusher heater kit is built specifically for the Kawasaki Ridge and Ridge Crew — not a universal heater adapted to fit. Its single-fan copper/aluminum heater puts 14,600 BTU of engine-coolant heat through 6 adjustable vents: two defrost vents, two hand vents and two foot vents. The heater unit mounts under the driver seat. Because it runs on engine coolant, it makes real heat without draining your battery; the fan draws about what a factory blower does.

Hose clamp tools (+$24.99): A pair of clamp-off pliers that seal hoses up to 2 inches, so the coolant tie-in stays clean. Handy on radiator hoses too.

Questions we hear
Does it defrost the windshield?
Yes, through dedicated defrost vents.
Will it drain my battery?
No. The heat comes from your engine’s coolant, not the battery. The fan draws about what a factory blower does.
How long does the install take?
Plan on 4–8 hours depending on experience. Experienced do-it-yourselfers land at the low end; first-timers should set aside a full day and follow the picture-rich instructions step by step.
Do I need the hose clamp tools?
You can install without them, but they make the coolant tie-in faster and cleaner. They pinch the hoses shut so coolant doesn’t pour out, and less air gets into the system, which makes bleeding the air out much easier. Sold as a pair; they fit hoses up to 2 inches.
Why buy an Ice Crusher heater
We’re not the cheapest UTV heater. We’re the one designed, supported and shipped by the people who answer the phone. Every kit is built for a specific machine, comes complete, and is backed by real people who know it inside and out. And we keep improving our kits, even when it means retiring our own older designs.
Warranty, support and shipping
3-year warranty on the whole kit, electrical included. If something goes wrong, tell us the problem and we make it right. Tech support is unlimited and free for as long as you own the heater: call 888-964-0135 and a real person in Minnesota answers.
Free shipping in the lower 48. Order by noon CT, Monday through Friday, and it ships the same day. Canada: $30–$50 per heater freight depending on province; duties, taxes and brokerage are extra.
